Quick Answers for Smooth Rides

Ordering & Payment

How do I purchase a Trailcraft bike or component?
All Trailcraft products are available exclusively through our website, allowing us to offer the best possible pricing direct to you. We ship worldwide, and accept Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. Have questions before you buy? Contact us anytime.

Do you accept trade-ins?
We don't offer trade-ins, but Trailcraft bikes hold their resale value exceptionally well if you're looking to upgrade.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does it take to build and ship my order?
Please check the individual bike page for current build timelines. We keep these updated as much as possible. Clothing and small parts typically ship within 1-2 business days of ordering.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide via FedEx International. Please note that duty and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer upon delivery. Email us your shipping address and we'll get you a quote.

Sizing & Fit

How do I know if this bike is the right size for my child?
Each bike model page includes a sizing tab with detailed fit information. Still not sure? Give us a call or text at 970-402-2384 or email [email protected] and we'll help you find the right fit.

Can my child grow into a larger size, or should I buy for their current height?
We always recommend buying for your child's current height and inseam, not the size they're growing into. Here's why: a bike that's too big is harder to control, especially on trails, and can knock a kid's confidence early on. The goal is for them to feel in command of the bike, not the other way around.

That said, a little room to grow is totally fine. You want your child to be able to touch the ground flat-footed (or close to it) when stopped, and to reach the handlebars comfortably without stretching. The best indicator of fit is wheel size, not age. Kids grow at different rates, so we organize our bikes by wheel size (20", 24", 26", 27.5", and 29") to help you match the bike to your child's actual size right now. As they grow, they'll naturally move up to the next wheel size.

Assembly & Setup

How much assembly is required when my bike arrives?
Our bikes ship 90% assembled. You'll need a 4mm and 5mm Allen key to install the handlebar, clamp the brakes and shifter, insert the front wheel, and attach the grips and pedals. Then you're ready to ride!
Note: Maxwell 27.5 builds require a few additional steps - see the included assembly instructions for details.

How do I unbox my new Trailcraft bike?
We put together a step-by-step video to walk you through it: How to Unwrap Your New Trailcraft Mountain Bike.

How do I set my tires up tubeless?
All wheels come tubeless-ready and pre-taped with Stan's tubeless tape. You'll just need tubeless valves and sealant. If we set up your tires tubeless before shipping, we used Orange Seal -- plan to refresh sealant every 30-45 days. Watch our tubeless setup video for step-by-step guidance.

My order is missing the wheel end caps and QR lever. Where are they?
No worries, they're in the box! End caps are typically tucked inside the black plastic wheel protectors on the wrapped wheels. The QR lever ships in the cinch bag wrapped around the fork.

Can my local bike shop service a Trailcraft bike?
Yes! While Trailcraft bikes are sold exclusively through our website, they're built with standard, widely-available components from trusted brands like Shimano, SRAM, and RockShox. Any reputable local bike shop should be able to handle routine maintenance, tune-ups, and component service without any special tools or training.

For warranty-related issues or questions specific to your Trailcraft frame or branded components, reach out to us directly and we'll make sure you're taken care of:

Customization

Can I customize the decals or lettering color on my bike?
Wheel decals and TC30 fork decals can be customized on eligible orders. Frame lettering color is standard per colorway and cannot be changed.
